Authentic Tango Salon. Regular events with visiting teachers from Argentina and across the UK. Tango Liverpool has been in existance since 2007, the first such group on Merseyside,holding events, classes and workshops with international teachers including Fernando Serrano, Monica & Omar (Los Ocampos), Cesar & Carolina, Andres'Tanguito' Cejas & Genoveva, Giraldo Diomar Escobar, Clo de Castro & Alison Vale & Ivan Arandia. Tango Liverpool was set up after teacher, Linda Wilton visited Buenos Aires and wished to pass on her enthusiasm for Tango to people in Liverpool. She was the first to bring this amazing dance to Merseyside. We have had classes in several venues over the years and are now resuming classes in the Belve in Toxteth, as well as starting new classes at Liverpool Hope University in the Spring. We offer a friendly, welcoming atmosphere, where everyone can enjoy the wonderful music of Buenos Aires and meet people of all ages who share their enthusiasm for this wonderful dance.
